MIDI BARGE – 30m x 5m – Fully converted into a Charter/B&B barge.

The conversion into a hôtel-barge was done in 2000 - originally she was 38m long, got shortened down to 29,90m to be able to get to the Canal du Midi.

Width is 5,05m - WD is 115m - Clearance, fits the Midi with the wheelhouse down (Aluminium foldable wheelhouse).

4 watertight compartments each equipped with a 24v drain pump - 2 watertight doors.

- Engine Daf DH825M with roughly 24000 hours (installed new in 1982). 135hp
- Generator: Lister-Peter marine in a silent box (220/380) 20kva - Year 2000.
- Inverter Victron (not in working order) - Atlas 24/4500 - House batteries have to be replaced.
Tankage:
- Diesel: 2 x 1147L.
- Fresh water : 1 x 2000L + 2 x 1000L.
- Waste : 1 x 800 + 1 x 2000 (toilets and showers go direct into the tank) evacuation by pump or outlet on deck.
- Central heating. Diesel fired boiler.
- Hot water 250L electric boiler.
- Air conditionning.

Layout: Stern to bow.

- Back cabin (crew) : 2 bunks - Shower & wc - small office and galley.
- Access on port side to the hold (not connected to the wheelhouse).
- Open galley (needs improvements) and living room (good quality double glazed windows). Spacious & bright. Access to deck.
- Bulkhead with watertight door leading to the bedrooms.
- First two bedrooms are twins (2x80cm beds) on starboard and the 3rd one on whole width is double queen size bed. All cabins are ensuite.
- Bulkhead.
- Fore peak is crew, bed, shower and wc.
Deck : 8m x 4m with safety railings.

Basically a good ship, last survey was in june 2014 work has to be done on the underwater part (roughly 50 000 Euros ). Good base for a hôtel barge project.
Engine room was doubled up in november 2009.
