Small TUG/Pushboat (OPDUWER/OPDRUKKER)
Built in the NL 1935.

- Lengh 5,50m – Width 2,20m – WD 0,50m
- Engine : LISTER 30hp hand start.

Beautiful museum piece in perfect condition hull and engine. Sold with its trailer .

These small tugs (Opduwer) were built in the Nederlands in between 1910 and 1940 to assist the cargo barges working under sail. See last picture below.


It was infact much easier for the owners to get one of these instead of having to fit an engine in their own ship.
 These small boats were built with the steel leftover coming from the ship building.

Would do some kind of a fabulous dinguy for a barge .Very interesting historically.
